Hello everyone!
We continue our series of project reviews, and today is the next one. It’s called “Models of Lipotoxic Liver Cell Damage.”
How do liver cells respond to excess fat, and can they be protected from damage? As part of the project, participants will create an experimental model of lipotoxic damage to hepatocyte-like cells and screen various substances capable of modifying the cellular response to lipid overload.
Project tutors: Ivan Troev is a biotechnologist and specialist in medical biotechnology.
