On June 18, 2026, at 3:00 PM, a press conference of the organizers of the III International Science Games in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) will be held at the Media Center (Press House, 31 Ordzhonikidze Street). Speakers at the press conference include:
– Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) and Chairman of the YISG Organizing Committee A.A. Semenov;
– Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) N.A. Sokolova;
– Vice-Rector for Education and Methodological Work at NEFU A.I. Golikov;
– Rector of the Sakha Academy of Sciences V.K. Pavlov;
– YISG-2018 participant, student, and chief engineer of the Cholbon small spacecraft project A.N. Petrov;
– representatives of the YISG event organizers.

Reference: From June 24 to July 14, Yakutia will host the 3rd Yakutsk International Science Games — the largest international event in the field of education in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia)!
The Games will be held in a blended in-person and remote format, with approximately 600 schoolchildren from 14 countries and many regions of Russia expected to participate. More than 260 participants will participate in person, including 14 representatives from China and Pakistan, and over 60 representatives from other regions of the Russian Federation.

The Games program includes three key events. The International Research School will be held from June 30 to July 10. The International Conference and Competition of Schoolchildren’s Scientific Projects (Yakutsk Science Fair) will be held from July 3 to 4. The XXXIII International M.A. Alekseev Tuymaada School Olympiad in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Computer Science will be held from July 2 to 5.

Additional events are also planned. From June 30 to July 10, the children’s publishing house “Keskil” will host the YISG-2026 Media School. The Games will also include an educational salon for teachers, “Territory of Success,” a presentation game, “Diplomats of the Future,” and the finals of the televised humanities Olympiad for schoolchildren, “Smart and Clever,” in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
